Theresa Gattung
Guest speaker Theresa Gattung has many arrows to her bow. After studying Law and Business at University, Theresa worked her way up the ranks at TVNZ, National Mutual (now Axa), Bank of New Zealand and then Telecom (now Spark).
At the age of 37, Theresa Gattung became the youngest CEO of Telecom, and the first women CEO on the New Zealand Stock Exchange. These are only a few of Theresa’s achievements, she has a strong belief about giving back.
Theresa has had a huge impact on many different organisations through her governance roles, the SPCA being just one. Most of our younger members will identify with My Food Bag.
Theresa was instrumental to creating and ensuring this business had the business structure to succeed with Cecilia Robinson.
